Our Village is a not-for-profit organisation that supports community groups and projects that aim to benefit the Moreton Bay region.
The Our Village Facebook page is designed to enable you to communicate and share information with other fans of Our Village.
We love to see posts about about community groups and projects that operate in the Moreton Bay region that we support.
Comments about Our Village are welcome and we will endeavour to answer all queries in a timely manner.
However, to encourage public participation there are limits to acceptable communication.
These are:
1) No profanity. All posts must use language suitable for viewing by all ages. In other words, if you wouldn't want your kids saying it, or if you wouldn't say it to your grandmother – it’s not acceptable. We have an automatic language filter active to help facilitate this.
2) All comments must be made in the spirit of constructive and civilised dialogue. Please do your best to stay on topic. While we appreciate wide-ranging discussions, we’d like to avoid derailed threads.
3) Keep comments about individuals for praise and referrals. Personal attacks will not be tolerated; this is not the forum.
4) At their discretion. Administrators may block users or report or remove comments containing
• Spam , including but not limited to advertisements or posts that offer to sell or buy any goods or services or external surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters.
• Inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topics, names, materials or information.
• Content which discriminates against a business or person based on their race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
All content is subject to the Facebook Code of Conduct, Terms of Use and the general rules above.
